All on 8 : Dental implant solution

All on 8″ is one of the most reliable dental implant techniques: it replaces all a patient’s missing teeth with a single prosthesis, fixed and stabilised with 8 implants.

All on 8 implants have a long lifespan (between 15 and 20 years) and can even last for the patient’s entire life, provided they are well maintained. As after any dental implant procedure, you will need to pay attention to your diet a few weeks after the operation. Favour liquid and/or soft foods; don’t smoke or drink, to promote healing and avoid infection or inflammation.

Maintaining your All on 8 implants is simple, but must be very rigorous if you want to prolong their life as much as possible. Brush regularly, use suitable interdental accessories, eat foods that do not require extreme chewing ability and avoid harmful substances such as tobacco and alcohol.

A priori, there are no contraindications to switching from removable dentures to All on 8 implants. You will simply have to start the implant procedure from scratch.
